Trent Zimmerman, Member for North Sydney

Trent has a proven record of working with residents, small business, schools, sporting and other local organisations to improve the North Sydney community.

Locally, Trent Zimmerman will be working hard for:

  • Improved local roads,
  • Planning policies to protect the character of our community,
  • A sustainable environment, and
  • A strong and well-managed economy

Trent has lived in the electorate for over 14 years. In 2004, Trent was elected to the North Sydney Council and served for eight years. He was a strong voice for greater financial responsibility, the revitalisation of the North Sydney CBD and improved parking for both residents and businesses.

One of Trent’s proudest achievements on Council was helping secure a new SES headquarters in Waverton.

He has previously served as a director of the Crows Nest Community Centre and Epilepsy Action Australia.

He was a member of the North Sydney Demonstration School Council and a local zone chair for the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal.

He is currently the president of his local Rotary Club and is involved in other community organisations in North Sydney.
