Working for Willoughby

Willoughby needs a strong local representative and effective voice in the government

Gladys was first elected to the NSW Parliament as Member for Willoughby on 22 March 2003.

She was elected Leader of the Parliamentary Liberal Party on 23 January 2017 and sworn in as the 45th Premier of New South Wales. Gladys had previously served as Treasurer and Minister for Industrial Relations in the Baird Government since April 2015.

Prior to that, she was appointed Minister for Transport following the election of the O’Farrell Government in March 2011 and served in that role for four years.

  • Delivered the new Anzac Park Public School, opened in June 2016
  • Completed upgrades to Chatswood High School and Mowbray Public School
  • Delivering an upgrade to Artarmon Public school and a major upgrade to Willoughby Girls High School
  • Delivered an upgrade to Artarmon Station, include lift access in 2015
  • Delivering Sydney Metro, with turn up and go services
  • Delivered a new Ambulance Superstation at Artarmon in February 2018
  • Delivered 664 additional weekly train services on the T1 North Shore & Northern Line
  • Delivered over 6000 additional bus services across the North Shore
  • Delivered the Chatswood Service NSW Centre

Your Electorate of Willoughby is on the North Shore of Sydney, and is 26 square kilometres in size.
The electorate of Willoughby covers the suburbs of Artarmon, Cammeray, Castlecrag, Castle Cove, Crows Nest, Chatswood, Chatswood West, Lane Cove North, Middle Cove, Naremburn, Neutral Bay, Northbridge, North Cremorne, North Sydney, Roseville, St Leonards and Willoughby.  

The postcodes included in the Willoughby Electorate are 2060, 2062, 2063, 2064, 2065, 2066, 2067, 2068, 2069, 2089, and 2090.
