A re-elected Morrison Government will invest $500,000 to upgrade facilities at Jarrah Oval, home to the Tumut Bulls Rugby Union Club.

Liberal for Eden-Monaro Fiona Kotvojs said the club will benefit from new change room facilities, improved female amenities and new referee facilities.

“The current facilities at the oval are very old and do not cater adequately for referees or female players and spectators,” Ms Kotvojs said.

“The Tumut Bulls are a proud local rugby club more than 35 years old. This upgrade is big win for all the players and spectators. Upgrading these facilities also goes towards our goal of getting more people in Tumut involved in sport.”

The rebuild will include new change rooms facilities for players and referees as well as new toilets for men and women.

Senator Jim Molan said a re-elected Morrison Government would help deliver the upgrades as a priority.
“Sporting groups like the Bulls are the lifeblood of regional communities and they deserve to have the best amenities,” Senator Molan said.

“The Coalition Government’s strong economic management and budget surplus means upgrades like these can be delivered for our region.”
