Contact Fiona Kotvojs Liberal for Eden-Monaro Fiona Kotvojs understands our local community. Born in Bega and growing up on the family farm in Dignams Creek between Narooma and Bega, where she now lives, Fiona raises Simmental cattle and produces truffles. Having attended Cobargo Primary and Bega High School, Fiona started her professional career as a high school teacher. She understands the importance of a good education and the need to create opportunities for young people to work and study in our region. Fiona runs and operates small businesses, where she designs, manages and evaluates Australian foreign aid programs in the Asia-Pacific. She has furthered this work as a Director of Oxfam Australia. Fiona believes in giving back to our community at every opportunity. Locally, she is a volunteer member of the Rural Fire Service, has served as a member of the Australian Army Reserve and is an active member in her local Anglican church community. As a volunteer telephone counsellor for Lifeline Australia, Fiona understands the need for improved mental health services in our region. Fiona has dedicated her professional life to building communities and helping others through owning and operating small businesses and farms, and her previous work in education and the environment. Fiona understands the challenges faced by farmers and small businesses. She values the character of our community and will fight for more local job opportunities, support for seniors and tax relief for families and small businesses. Fiona is already working hard, meeting with locals and hearing about the issues that matter to them. With a lifelong commitment to our region, Fiona will be a strong local voice who will listen and fight for our diverse community.
